NEW THIS YEAR... Trunk-or-Treat in the city parking lot during our regular Halloween hours of 6-7:30pm. Center Street, from Saline to Wood, will be blocked off to keep the kiddos safe. Some local businesses will also be handing out candy, as well as the Masons, and the Library. If you'd like to participate, please have your vehicle in the lot no later than 5:45pm so the road can be blocked off. All are welcome, city or township residents!  This is in addition to regular Trick-o-Treating, and is a great opportunity for those who don't get many kids normally.  There is no fee, or sign up required to participate. Just be there and have fun!! Feel free to decorate your vehicle if you wish.

For the safety of our Trick-or-Treaters, please refrain from burning at the street on October 30 and 31!!

Announcement: The City of Petersburg asks that you please refrain from burning leaves within the city during 11:30-3:00 on school days especially if you live near the school.  The smoke has become a problem for some of our children. We appreciate your cooperation. Thank you for keeping our children safe and happy!

If you must burn, do not burn in the street-it damages the asphalt (City ordinance).
